You can prepare as much as you like to receive orders, but when the first one comes in, everything gets very real. This is what we were waiting for but, when it happened, were we really quite ready?

When we first had the idea for Seeds & Dreams, the scope of activity seemed so straightforward. But, as we got closer to launching, we realised just how much ground we were going to have to cover.

While seeds can grow into beautiful plants, they also symbolize potential and new beginnings. It is the idea of personal growth that we have strived to capture in our cards and gifts.

We were confident in our idea but we knew that, to pull it off, we had to produce something worthy of a king's mantelpiece! In this post I look at the momentous task of designing and printing our products.

Why is it that so many people in long-term employment dream of escaping the rat-race to work for themselves? More important, what made us decide to do something about it?
